God's Little Reminders

God reminded me of something this morning I thought I would share. Someone else might need to be reminded.

There are time when I don't know who I am. When I'm not where I want to be with God. When I forget who He is. But in those time He knows who I am. Who He is. He remembers all His promises for me and the plans he has for my life.

It reminded me of a story I once heard.

Someone asked a man who's wife was in a nursing home with altimeters and didn't know who he was anymore why he still visited her.  He said '' I still know who she is, and I love her''

As I was remembering that story it also reminded me of the  movie ''The note book''. I remember thinking after watching that movie for the first time, what an amazing love story! The thing is The same way Noah would read the love story to his wife Allie everyday in hopes that she would remember who he was so that he could spend a few short minutes with the love of his life.  God dose the same to us. He speaks his truth and promises over us every day in hopes that we would catch a glimpse of who He is and we would spend a little time with Him, because we are the love of His life.

I also thought about how lost and lonely Allie felt in the times she couldn't remember who she was, where she was. That if it hadn't been for Noah coming everyday to remind her she would of stayed that way. I'm so thankful that I have a God who everyday wants to tell me a love story and remind me who He is and who I am.
