If you know me at all you will know I love old things. I feel they have a story to tell and can take us back to times that have been forgotten. I find beauty in their imperfections and uniqueness. Amy and I were on our way back to the house to get ready for her great grandmothers 100 birthday party when She said ''I know a place you will love''. Having a few minuets to spare she drove down this little two lane road which was beautiful, peaking up above the trees I could see a small gimps of a old brick factory. Before we even got out of the car I knew she was right I would love this place! I grabbed my my camera out of the back seat and jumped out of the car ready to explore. I was a little scared at first I was trespassing again! And I didn't know how sturdy the place would be. I restrained myself from going in and was just going to take a few pics of the outside, when Amy found a open door which lead to a stair case. As much as I wanted to go up I told myself no....okay just a peek....okay we are this far so just open the door at the top of the stairs already!!! I'm so glad we did! aside from broken glass on the floor it wasn't too dangerous. But then again I'm not a constructional engineer. I took a few pictures of Amy and her daughter Scarlett but keep in mind this was like a pit stop and we weren't planing on taking pictures. Just think of all the amazing pictures I could take here if I had the right lighting and lens. To bad my new favorite place to shoot is in Ohio!!! Anyone up for a trip?
Little Miss Scarlett kept sticking her tongue out at me every time I tried taking her picture but at least she was mostly smiles. she so cute tongue and all.
